Supervised by a team of experienced facilitators , you will learn to maintain inner peace in the face of external challenges, while optimizing your health , your endurance , your concentration , your sleep and your well-being . Damien, one of the first instructors of the Wim Hof method in France, will help you approach the cold differently, while Alexandre will guide you towards a deep letting go, thanks to his ten years of bodily and mystical explorations.

Over the course of this immersive week, we will dive deep into the art of influencing the nervous system , providing moments of challenge and happiness, followed by deep relaxations . This extended experience allows a gradual introduction to the Wim Hof Method in breathtaking natural settings. Participants lean on each other during these difficult times, forging lasting friendships often considered the most valuable outcome of these journeys.

Wim Hof Method Instructor

Damien has always been passionate about the impact of our thoughts on the body and health. Following a retraining, he first trained in hypnosis before discovering the Wim Hof method. The approach to cold has profoundly transformed his life, helping him to convey confidence and kindness in every daily action. He followed Wim Hof to Poland in 2018 to become an instructor and since then has been passing on the benefits of the Wim Hof method.


Hollistic Therapist

Alexandre Poignard, holistic therapist, uses various spiritual and bodily practices to help regain well-being and movement. It integrates traditional teachings and ceremonies to guide you towards reconnecting with yourself. His sensitivity and his personal journey enrich his support towards inner harmony.


Hiking guide

A hiking guide will be present during the expedition to supervise the group in complete safety.


Location of Stay

The stay takes place at Total Art Oasis, a seminar center located in Bussang, in the heart of the Hautes-Vosges. This exceptional space is surrounded by magnificent natural landscapes with rivers, lakes and mountains. The site offers a serene and inspiring atmosphere, ideal for recharging your batteries and reconnecting with yourself. With its comfortable facilities and enchanting setting, it is the perfect place for a deep and transformative immersion.

• This retreat is open to everyone, but requires a basic level of health.

• The longest walk in the mountains will be around 2 hours

• As a precaution, we do not recommend participation during pregnancy or in cases of epilepsy

• People with cardiovascular problems or any other serious health conditions should always consult a healthcare professional before starting the Wim Hof Method.

• A release of liability will be requested to validate registration

• The maximum reception capacity is 16 beds
• 4 single rooms (first come, first served)

• Damien has been an instructor of the Wim Hof method since 2018, he has guided more than 2,000 people to learn more about themselves with the cold

Typical Day
  • 7:30 a.m.: Yoga

  • 8:30 a.m.: Breathing exercise

  • 9 a.m.: Breakfast

  • 10 a.m.: Theory or practice of the Wim Hof method

  • 12 p.m.: Meal

  • 2 p.m.: Outdoor activity with the cold

  • 5 p.m.: Talking circle and daily report

The program

Day 1: Discovery and immersion

The first day will be dedicated to settling comfortably in your space, to familiarizing yourself with the magnificent natural setting that surrounds us: rivers, lakes and mountains. Together we will establish the rules and the caring climate that will allow everyone to express themselves with complete confidence. This day aims to leave aside the tumult of daily life to make way for a true rediscovery of oneself.

Day 2: Introduction to the method

This day will be dedicated to laying the solid foundations of the Wim Hof method in a safe environment. You will discover the history of this method and its different pillars. Gradually, we will put these principles into practice through breathing exercises , concentration and exposure to cold , in order to awaken your inner fire.

Day 3: I love the cold

Today we will experience the cold in the great outdoors with various fun exercises. We will learn to see the cold not as an enemy, but as a powerful ally. Through brief, interactive periods of exposure to cold, we will develop a new perspective and increased resilience . The day will end with an ice bath in one of the most beautiful lakes in the region, a true celebration of our new alliance with the cold.

Day 4: Introspection

This day will be dedicated to self-exploration through a sacred cocoa ceremony as well as a sweat lodge . We will delve into our unconscious mechanisms to learn to let go and accept what is, quite simply.

Day 5: The ascent

This day will take up the strong symbolism of the Wim Hof-style shorts expedition in which you will be able to test your physical and mental limits armed with the resilience that you will have developed during the week. This will allow you to celebrate the progress you have made in controlling your limiting beliefs and the confidence in your physiology and mental strength that results from it.

Day 6: Closing

The last day will be dedicated to integrating all the learning from the week. Together we will establish your personalized routine to stay on course towards a radiant and fulfilling life. It will also be an opportunity to strengthen the friendships made during the stay.

Winter Retreat - November 2022

It's a very nice discovery, I didn't have too many expectations but I was surprised day by day, it grew crescendo, it was a great adventure, physical, mental and above all human, very well supervised by Damien and Mickael.
